So I finally got a tattoo this past friday. It's really cute and I love it. When I headed to the shop I waan't sure what I wanted to get done. I was thinking about an aries symbol, but decided on this cute turtle after much thought with Linzy. She also got a tat on her chest and her boy Corey got one on his neck. It was a fun night. We went to the Heaven Hill CD release show after, and just missed (IntheClear) which I was really pissed about. With Tego leaving the band I want to see as many shows with him as I can. We hung out with everyone, watched a little of Heaven Hill, and got a few pictures. I finally met Richard and Evan from SubRosa/Audio at War. I have been secertly in love with them for a long time, and it was awesome to finally meet them. I asked Richard for a picture and he said that made his night. I guess since the band broke up he doesn't get asked anymore. Oh well I was all too happy. I also finally got my pictures with Sean, Andy and Clay. After all that time they were at the house in Florida and the shows up here, I finally got them. Ashely and I got our Heaven Hill cd signed and then we headed home. Jamie needed to get gas so we stopped at the gas station and as we are walking out Clay pulls up to get some beer. So he invites us to come hang out with a few people. Linzy isn't really feeling that well, but we head over there anyway. I don't know what it is about those guys, but I freaking love them!
Sept. 6th will be Kinsey's final show. I'm really crushed that they won't be together anymore. I mean I've known that they have been broken up for a couple months now, but it's all going to be final at the show. I am just so stoked that I get to go to this one. I have loved the band for a long time now and I will finally get to see them live. I've already met Cory (who I am in love with btw) and he was super sweet. I told Stacey and Linzy that they have to introduce me to all the other members so I can drool over them too lol. I don't think people really understand how much I love Kinsey. I'm a writer as many of you know, and I can't really write anything good unless I'm listening to them. They are truly my muse. Or maybe it's just Jeremiah's voice.
Me and Linzy started a new job a couple weeks ago at MedImmune. Things are going really well for us there. We don't really get many hours, but the people we work with are amazing and the job is great too. I get to play in dry ice all day and see pretty colors at the end of the day. No, I don't try inhale a lot of the smoke, but it happens sometimes. I'm not really sure what Linzy does. Her job is always changing. Point is we are really happy with our jobs, which not a lot of people can say.
So I think that's about it for now. I'm going to be updating this site with a crap load of pictures and maybe my show diary. I'm not sure about that. Well I'm off to start doing that.
